Councillor Rebecca Moynihan - To ask the Area Manager to erect ‘Dublin Arts and Antiques Quarter’ signage at either end of Francis Street to support local business in the area.

Roads and Traffic Department have examined the matter and advise that such signs are only used to indicate places of tourist attraction or public interest. It is not possible to provide these signs for business or commercial premises as this could lead to numerous requests and a proliferation of such signs throughout the City.
